The Congressional District indicates the district in which you vote for your United States congressman. Once legislative and congressional maps are certified, counties begin working to implement the new maps and import them into the statewide voter registration system, which takes time. The Legislative District indicates the district in which you vote for your state senator and state representative in the Arizona State Legislature. The congressional and legislative districts included in each county are listed in the two columns on the right.
If you want to sign a petition for a congressional or legislative candidate while E-Qual is not available, contact the candidate's campaign directly to sign a paper petition. The voter will see candidates running in those districts once candidates update their candidate portal.
