Proposition 105 Makes Election Unfair and is an Attack on the Act of Voting.
In this Presidential year more Americans than ever will exercise their precious and hard-earned right--the right to cast their vote. Yet one measure on the November ballot will transform the election and voting system in Arizona. Prop 105, the so-called "Majority Rules" measure, is a proposed amendment to Arizona's constitution, that simply put, will make elections unfair, and the ability to pass citizen initiatives nearly impossible. Prop 105 is an ill-conceived, misleading measure that will automatically assign a NO vote to anyone who does not vote in the election including those who don't bother to vote, those who make the choice not to vote, those who have moved, those who for unforeseen circumstances can't vote, and those deceased voters that are still on the rolls. Prop 105 would allow people who don't vote to cancel out the votes of people who actually participate in elections. That's not just unfair - it's wrong.
- Prop 105 is misleading and an attack on the act of voting.
- Prop 105 doesn't belong in our constitution.
- Prop 105 Makes Elections Unfair.
Every election - be it initiative or not - should be decided by a true voting majority - those whose voices are heard because they actually choose to vote. That's the American way.
